In fast allen größeren deutschen Städten existieren mittlerweile Verkehrsverbünde - mit einem Fahrschein können Bus, Tram, U-Bahn und Regionalzüge genutzt werden.

Was auf den ersten Blick ziemlich gut klingt, hat einen großen Haken: Im RegionalExpress, in der RegionalBahn oder in der S-Bahn gibt es bei Fahrten innerhalb eines Verkehrsverbundes keinen BahnCard-Rabatt mehr.
